This occurred just north/northwest of our neighborhood.

Baltimore, MD / February 13, 2012 -  The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a carjacking that occurred recently within the Hamilton Hills community of Northeast Baltimore.

On February 11, 2011, just after 1:00 p.m., officers responded to the 2700 Blk of Evergreen Avenue for report of a carjacking.  Upon arrival they located a female victim who advised that upon parking her vehicle, she was approached by two individuals. They displayed a handgun and ordered her out of the vehicle and to leave the keys.  She complied, fearing for her safety, and the individuals fled in her vehicle.  The vehicle was found a short time later, unoccupied, within the 5500 Blk of Hamlet Avenue.
The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1:      Black male, 16-22 years-old, approximately 5'8", thin build, wearing a black ski-mask, red hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans and brandishing a dark-colored revolver with a long barrel

Suspect 2:       Black male, 5'8", thin build, wearing a black sweatshirt and dark-colored jeans

Suspect Vehicle:      Newer model Buick four-door sedan, maroon in color, with tinted windows (not the victim's vehicle)

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to called Northeast District detectives at 410-396-2444.  Residents are asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police immediately.
