The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) will host three public hearings regarding proposed bus service adjustments. The hearings will take place May 18th and May 19th. Interested citizens may attend the hearings or submit written comments via postal mail or email. Written comments may be submitted until 5 pm, Monday, June 20th.
The MTA gives notice of three public hearings concerning proposed service adjustments to the following Local Bus routes: Nos. 3, 15, 19, 27, 29, 35, 44, 47, 52, 57, 58, 61, 77, 97, and 99 that may become effective on or about June 26, 2011 as follows:

Proposed changes to Waltherson's Bus Routes:
Route 15 (Belair Rd)
Security Square Mall - Walbrook Junction - Overlea
Carney - State Center
Security Square Mall - Social Security - Rosedale Industrial Park

- All eastbound local service to terminate at Overlea
- Express service to Perry Hall will continue as scheduled
- Expand Route 58 service to operate to White Marsh
- Improve Peak Service to operate every 12 minutes
Carney - State Center
- To alleviate overcrowding, provide additional trips for AM peak service inbound and just prior to PM peak outbound.
Security Square Mall - Social Security - Rosedale Industrial Park
- Adjust service frequency to 20 minutes
- Every other trip will continue to short turn around at Rogers Ave Metro Subway Station
